Triumph Street Triple RS

 Triumph Motorcycles returned to frontline racing in 2021 with an official factory-supported programme in partnership with Performance Technical Racing (PTR). The Triumph-PTR Racing Team was established through a collaboration between the iconic British manufacturer and the team led by Simon Buckmaster, which has enjoyed success across numerous international competitions, including the FIM Supersport World Championship and the Isle of Man TT.

Triumph continues to support PTR through the ongoing development of its race-winning Supersport machine. Based on the Street Triple RS and powered by the acclaimed 765cc triple-cylinder engine, the bike has demonstrated exceptional performance and reliability, building on the engine platform that powers the Moto2 World Championship.

Since returning to top-level Supersport competition, the partnership has continued to build momentum. Following Triumph's first victory of the modern Supersport era with Stefano Manzi in 2022, the programme has gone on to establish itself as a consistent front-running force in the FIM Supersport World Championship, securing race wins and podium finishes.

As the team looks ahead to the 2026 season, Triumph and PTR Racing remain committed to further developing both rider and machine, with the shared ambition of challenging for victories and championship honours while continuing to showcase the performance and competitiveness of Triumph's 765cc platform on the world stage.
